Ghostories

A supernatural mystery roleplaying game for mature readers, where characters investigate ghosts, spirits, phantoms, banes, and mortal threats such as rogue sorcerers, diabolists, mad scientists, and cults. Characters are defined by their life pursuits and may gain secret knowledge or paranormal abilities tied to empathy, faith, magic, occult practices, science, or vigilantism. The rules use two six-sided dice for quick, flexible resolution, with additional systems for investigations, fear, dementia, paranormal powers, and character connections. The game includes ready-to-use characters and horrors, four introductory scenarios, story ideas, and conversion notes for related settings and games.
