Gilded Die of Satanis

A rules-light mechanic for d20 and other roleplaying games, inspired by story-focused play and suited to sword-and-sorcery campaigns with moments of dark comedy. Players use a golden six-sided die to introduce unexpected complications, incidents, or shifts in the fiction alongside ordinary resolution rolls. It is designed as an add-on for Advanced Crimson Dragon Slayer and Cha'alt, but can be applied to most RPGs where dice determine whether events occur.
