Have You Heard About the Beast?

A collaborative fantasy roleplaying game about tavern rumours and the strange beasts they describe. Players share and expand on stories about a creature’s appearance, abilities, lair, and secrets, with each detail becoming true. Random tables provide prompts, while the group creates the remaining ideas together. The resulting creature and encounter can serve as a one-shot, convention scenario, or side quest, with the GM supplying statistics and adapting the content to a preferred setting or rules system.
