Heart of the Machine
This adventure begins the first Thunderscape adventure path. In Mekanus, the largest city in the Known Lands, player characters take on high-paying bounties from the Cogswheel Irregulars, mercenary lawmen serving the Urbanan government. Their work soon draws the attention of a group seeking forgotten secrets in the city’s most dangerous districts, placing the characters in the crosshairs. The adventure unfolds across four acts and includes a primer and map of Mekanus, details on the Cogswheel Irregulars, new NPC profiles, and bestiary entries.
