This expansion advances the HORDES storyline as the United Kriels seek allies, the skorne move against Ios, and Krueger’s plans threaten the land of Caen. Ancient powers push the conflict toward an apocalyptic conclusion. The book introduces new warlocks, including epic versions and three character lesser warlocks, along with warbeast packs, units, and solos for every major faction. It also includes narrative fiction following the events of Gargantuans, painting and modeling guidance, and theme force lists for the new warlocks.
