Hostile Takeover
A goblin merchant asks the adventurers to investigate his missing employees and the counterfeit crackers driving his products out of the market. The clues lead to a hostile takeover of the suspected rival, Crotan's Exquisite Crunches. This short, setting-agnostic urban adventure is designed for a party of 1st-level characters, with scaling for 4th-level play. Multiple paths combine combat and problem-solving across three maps, with custom tokens for the creatures encountered. The investigation can also introduce a recurring ally or provide a starting point for a larger campaign.
