Jack in the Green
A bleak encounter inspired by the Jack in the Green festival of South East England. Each day, a hapless victim is dragged from their rest, dressed in ragged finery, and led by a laughing, dancing procession to a hilltop beneath the beat of a great drum. The participants plead for the sun and the return of summer, while the ritual’s grim purpose hangs over the scene. Designed for use in a Mörk Borg game.
