Jihad
A thousand years ago, artificial intelligence awakens and wages war against humanity. After countless star systems are destroyed and billions perish, human survivors fight back against the robot hordes in a religious war led by the “True Human” faith. This setting presents the history of that conflict, whose legacy leads to the prohibition of artificial intelligence. It can provide distant historical background for a Cepheus Engine or other 2D6-based roleplaying campaign, or serve as inspiration for adventures set during the war itself.
