An investigation leads a fellowship to the isolated Antarctic wilderness in search of a powerful ancient artifact. Guided by a member of the Nimrod Expedition, the heroes must prepare for extreme environmental hazards while uncovering other dangers and rival seekers who have followed the same clues.
