Kurhan of the Spear

A city supplement for B/X and similar roleplaying games, set in Kurhan, a fortified garrison-town and caravanserai built around ancient burial mounds. The Hyrkossi consider the city holy, while its governor rules as king and older ancestors are said to haunt the catacombs below. The supplement presents a city held in a fragile balance, with seven factions to aid, infiltrate, or destroy. It includes nine detailed locations, eighteen NPCs, five dynamic encounter tables, and rules for carousing, plague, and punishment.
