Legend of the Five Rings (4th Edition)

A samurai-themed tabletop roleplaying game set in a fictional, feudal empire where duty, honor and clan loyalty shape society. Players create samurai and other courtly or martial characters, adopt clan identities and roleplay obligations under the code of Bushido while pursuing personal and political goals. Play uses a dice-based roll-and-keep style system revised for streamlined duels, magic, and court intrigue; mechanics support battlefield combat, formal duels, social maneuvering and clan-level agendas. The game presents tools for play in multiple eras of the setting, letting groups follow established lore or craft their own stories of honor, ambition and conflict.
