Players portray investigators, occultists, nobles, or members of clandestine orders who explore hidden mysteries, practice secret arts, and confront supernatural threats such as vampires and ancient forces. Gameplay centers on investigative roleplaying, occult rituals, combat with period weapons, and managing health and fear.
