Lock 'n Load Tactical: Hell Frozen Over

A tactical World War II module that recreates the May 1943 battle for a rugged Aleutian island, focusing on close, attritional combat in severe arctic conditions. Players command American and Japanese units over a large 22"×34" map with eight elevation levels and varied terrain types—muskeg, rough ground, cliffs and razorbacks—that affect movement and line of sight. The module includes nine scenarios that cover named objectives and chokepoints across passes, ridges and valleys. Play proceeds hex-by-hex with infantry movement, ranged fire, and melee resolving yard-by-yard; weather effects such as dense fog and sudden high winds influence visibility and tactics. Scenarios emphasize holding ground, flanking through difficult terrain and grinding attacks until one side is eliminated or objectives are secured.
