Players collaboratively create a fantasy world by dividing a map into regions and adding landforms, resources, hostile tribes, and mysterious lairs. Dice determine many of the features and events, while players shape the history and development of an empire in their section, guiding it from a small settlement toward expansion or decline. The game combines map creation, light dice-driven decisions, and cooperative storytelling to produce a complete world and its lore.
