Set in an alternate Earth of the 1890s, this roleplaying setting combines wondrous inventions, scientific ambition, rare magic, and supernatural terror. The Mists of Ravenloft bring their horrors into a world shaped by Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Allan Poe, and Jack the Ripper. The book provides a campaign setting with new prestige classes, revised magic rules, evil lairs, and adventure hooks. Players take on the roles of investigators and adventurers who confront a growing darkness and work to prevent its conquest of Earth.
