Mechanomancy
A free preview of new steampunk magic for the d20 System. Mechanomancy combines clockworks, gears, spring drives, and other emerging sciences with the will of its practitioners to create animated objects ranging from simple constructs to sophisticated clockwork creatures. Advanced creations can resemble living beings until their coverings are damaged. The obsessive focus required to practice this craft prevents mechanomancers from using other forms of magic, whose mystical principles conflict with its scientific foundation.
