玩家用多彩的情绪方块填满自己的大脑板块，这些方块由多格骨牌形状组成。每轮会提供五张情绪卡，并掷出五颗骰子来决定可以放置哪些颜色，因此玩家需要想办法将方块嵌入板块，并为其选择颜色。 游戏持续12轮，得分来源包括完成的大脑区域、公开目标卡，以及特定颜色的排列规则；单个大脑区域中空缺格子最多的区域会受到惩罚，每个未填格扣1分。
