Monster Island: The Game of Giant Monster Combat

A fast tabletop fighting game inspired by Japanese kaiju cinema and atomic-horror films. Players create giant monsters using quick character-building rules, then battle across a tropical island prison by using strange powers, throwing trees and boulders, and avoiding molten lava. The game includes foldable cardstock monster figures, though toy monsters, dinosaurs, stuffed animals, and other miniatures can also be used. It requires no game master and includes monster-movie quotes and a filmography.
