A science-fiction roleplaying game set among starships, alien worlds, lasers, and psionics. Players create characters from six species and choose careers such as space jockeys, engineers, smugglers, starship officers, star knights, and psi-cops. The rules cover starship construction and combat, futuristic weapons and equipment, cybernetic enhancements, and the creation of worlds and star systems. Scenarios can range from space opera and galactic exploration to more grounded hard science fiction.
