New Beginnings: Alternate Character Creation Methods
This supplement presents three alternate character creation methods and five additional dice-based mini-games for starting a campaign. Career creation develops a character’s life before play, determining ability scores, proficiencies, skills, and background through choices and rolls. Prototype creation uses pre-existing character concepts to establish a class, abilities, skills, feats, and special features quickly. Tarot creation uses card draws to generate ability scores while suggesting elements of a character’s past and personality.
