Nezumi Network Gazetteer
The Nezumi network was founded 800 years ago by ratmen mercenaries serving an ambitious provincial governor. After his defeat, a weakened battalion held a defensible mountain position against the Imperial forces and survived a year-long siege. A peace treaty allowed the Nezumi to remain in the mountain in exchange for a tribute of 10% of their earnings and the service of their firstborn children as scouts for the Emperor.
