A remote island off the Chelish coast serves as a penal colony where prisoners mine valuable crystals from depths named for the layers of Hell. After all contact with the settlement ceases, the characters investigate the abandoned compound and search for missing miners and guards. The adventure combines wilderness and dungeon exploration, featuring mutilated animals, rampaging beasts, silent mines, and threats that can endanger the minds of those who uncover them. It is designed for 8th-level Pathfinder characters and includes a gazetteer of Deepmar, details of the penal colony, and a new monster.
