A tabletop wargame of man-to-man combat in Europe during 1944, covering squad- to platoon-sized actions involving German, American, British, and Soviet forces. Players command infantry and armor through firefights, pinned units, casualties, and battlefield movement using miniatures in any scale. A campaign system generates linked missions, while a character advancement system tracks soldiers as they develop from green replacements into battle-hardened veterans. The rules can also be expanded to larger engagements, including company-sized actions.
