A rules-light fantasy role-playing game focused on exploration, danger, monsters, and magic. Players create and advance characters, explore dungeons and wilderness, travel at sea, engage in combat, and use cleric or magic-user spells. The guide includes seven classic character classes, weapons and adventuring gear, vehicles, mounts, vessels, hirelings, specialists, and stronghold construction rules. It also contains 34 cleric spells and 72 magic-user spells, covering the player-facing rules of the classic Basic/Expert fantasy role-playing system.
