Path of the Assassin

A mid-level fantasy adventure for 4–6 characters of levels 5–7, compatible with first-edition rules and most retro-clones. After a politically motivated assassination on election day in the college town of Schola Umbra, the characters are deputized to pursue the killer through the town’s sewers. The scenario combines political intrigue with a sewer-delving chase, as the investigation uncovers evidence that Chaotic forces are using the underground passages to destabilize the Imperium. A pre-generated party of six suitable characters is included.
