Playthings

A Liminal Horror funnel places investigators inside a Resonant Artifact, where they are pulled into a plastic demi-plane shaped around the needs and entertainment of another. Players navigate a brightly colored world governed by childlike logic, simple games, and stark divisions between good and bad. The setting rewards uncomplicated solutions while concealing or denying the investigators’ humanity. Curiosity and innocence can lead to unsettling consequences as the group tries to survive and find a way out.
