Plotting the Course
Three weeks after the assassination of Altaruk’s governor, his daughter Sartaj takes control of the merchant town. To secure her position, she must win support from Houses Wavir, Rees, and Tomblador, each pursuing its own interests through bribery, blackmail, sabotage, and murder. House Wavir plots against a Balican templar, House Rees seeks concessions while concealing its involvement in the scheme, and House Tomblador works to undermine Sartaj and encourage Balican rule. The player characters become entangled in the houses’ political intrigues as they navigate competing agendas and investigate the threats facing Altaruk.
