Promises, Promises: An Introduction to Ars Magica
A roleplaying introduction to Mythic Europe, a medieval setting where faeries, dragons, divine kings, and powerful wizards shape the world. Players take on the roles of magi and their companions, using magic, investigation, and storytelling to face the dangers of a prepared scenario. The included adventure provides everything needed for a first session and can usually be completed in under three hours. The scenario is designed for a storyguide to run without prior experience or a separate rulebook.
