Return of the Mad Hermit
In the borderland forest of Abbottsfolly Wood, adventurers investigate the remnants of a wizard’s experiments with planar travel. They explore a hidden lair and a series of pocket dimensions, seeking six brass chimes that contain the wizard’s life essence while facing monsters, traps, and other challenges. Designed for 3–6 characters of levels 1–3, the adventure combines problem solving with dungeon crawling and can be introduced when a party makes camp in a wilderness setting. It is compatible with Swords & Wizardry WhiteBox and other OSR games.
