Ruby-Eyed Phylactery
The characters are summoned by the king to stop an undead magician that repeatedly emerges from the sewers and attacks the capital, returning stronger each time it is destroyed. Their investigation leads to an undiscovered crypt beneath the city, where they uncover the nature of the immortal lich and search for its phylactery. The magical vessel is protected by a wall of force, requiring the characters to find a way to disable the barrier before the lich reforms and confronts them again.
