Stalingrad: Advance to the Volga, 1942

A solitaire tactical-level simulation of the 1942 German drive toward the Volga, with the player controlling the attacking, mobile forces while the system automates the defending Soviet side. Play unfolds through turns that introduce random events, uncertain supply arrivals, and hidden Soviet area strengths and defensive setups, forcing adaptation to changing conditions. Movement, combat and logistical choices determine the attacker’s progress against a variety of randomized scenarios so that no two plays present the same operational challenges.
