Star Munchkin

Players take on spacefaring character types such as mutants, androids, and alien species, equipping lasers, vibroswords, grenades and other sci‑fi gear. Each turn a player draws an encounter card by “kicking down the door,” usually revealing a monster to fight or run from. Combat compares monster levels to the player’s level plus equipment and modifiers; other players may aid or interfere by playing cards or adding monsters. Defeating monsters grants treasure and levels, while losing triggers “bad stuff” penalties. The game uses card-based classes, treasures and encounters and includes mechanics for sidekicks and player interaction.
