The Bone of Batrasaxas
This supplement is inspired by English magical folklore surrounding the Society of the Horseman’s Word. It presents an enchanted toad bone that, when used with the rasped word “ONE,” can make animals—and, with greater danger, humans—devoted to its wielder. It details the relic’s origins in animal husbandry, its corrupting use by rogue members of the Sodality of Bestial Whispers, and the enslavement and cults that followed. Includes background and rules for using the bone, along with statistics for Yelga, Maistress of the Sodality.
