The Cretan Chronicles
A trilogy of adventure gamebooks set in the mythological world of Ancient Greece. Players guide Altheus, brother of the hero Theseus, through branching sections and make decisions that shape his journey. When a section number appears in italics, players may attempt an action not described in the text. Adding 20 to the section number determines whether the special action succeeds or fails, with failure carrying a stat penalty.
