The Cursed Centurion
A murder in the permanent camp of Legio XIIII Gemina draws the Custodes into an investigation at Carnuntum, an important military center on the Danube Limes. They serve the legatus by examining the violent death of tribunus militum Ulpio Cornelio Urbano and uncovering the source of his terror. This 12-page adventure explores Carnuntum and the surrounding region, includes a brief confrontation with the Quadi beyond the limes, and details the Cult of Nemesis and its devoted servant, who stands against the Custodes.
