The characters arrive in Karina during Carnival, a dangerous festival where ghosts, madmen, werewolves, and Vistani fill the streets under the waxing moon. The adventures uncover the hidden secrets of Invidia and the child born to the witch Gabrielle Aderre, whose existence may threaten the Vistani.
