The Field Guide to Superheroes Vol. 1
A sourcebook for superhero roleplaying, focused on ten character archetypes defined by origin and narrative role rather than power sets. It explores concepts such as the Alien Hero, Android, Animal Hero, Armored Wonder, Astronaut, Avatar, Comic Relief character, Creepy Hero, Dark Avenger, and Defender. Each archetype includes a general discussion followed by a fully developed hero suitable for use as a player character or important NPC in an ICONS campaign. The entries emphasize character, motivation, and story potential.
