The God Beneath the Tree: A Quickstart Playset for Cthulhu Awakens

A quickstart for a tabletop roleplaying game set in the Weird Century, spanning the 1920s to the present as the Cthulhu Mythos influences events from the shadows. Players take on roles such as soldiers, occult scholars, and private investigators while uncovering alien gods, monsters, scientific sorcery, and forbidden secrets. The booklet includes condensed rules, a player reference sheet, a 1940 scenario, and five pre-generated characters. Everything needed to begin play is provided.
