The Lair of Ysmorg (OSE)
A compact, one-level dungeon adventure for Old-School Essentials, set in a derelict dwarven fortress occupied by Ysmorg the Brutal and his beastman horde. A party of 4–6 characters of levels 3–6 can infiltrate the stronghold through stealth, bribery, persuasion, or force. The fortress contains ancient halls, secret corridors, traps, and a vengeful dwarven spirit whose knowledge may aid the expedition. Internal rivalries among the monsters create opportunities to manipulate them against one another while working to end the threat to nearby settlements. The scenario is designed for approximately one to two sessions.
