The Nocturnal Table
A 60-page game aid for city-based fantasy adventures in a large, dangerous metropolis. It provides a 300-entry table of nighttime encounters and strange events, along with systems for generating general encounters, merchants and their wares, pocket contents, local colour, warehouse goods, secret meetings, and investigation sites. The tables can supply brief interludes or serve as foundations for investigative scenarios, bizarre plotlines, and conspiracies involving guards, thieves, fanatics, apparitions, monsters, and other threats prowling the streets after dark.
