The Shadow Over Washington

Set in wartime Washington, D.C., this one-GM, one-player investigative roleplaying game follows Langston Wright, a scholarly World War II veteran navigating Jim Crow laws while solving difficult cases. Players investigate the city’s streets, use scientific equipment and deduction, and confront human corruption alongside an ancient extraterrestrial intelligence. Langston must contend with violence, a monster controlled by a madman, threats to the capital, and the strain placed on his sanity by the Cthulhu Mythos.
