The Sorcerer's Return

A first-level Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure sends village rejects to the villa of the supposedly dead sorcerer Verrückter, who has summoned them with promises of urgent business and cake. The journey leads through dangerous wilderness to the strange village of Betrug, where ancient powers and a frightening secret await. Designed for one or two sessions, the adventure features horror and intrigue, sixteen NPCs, five new weapons, nine unusual magic items, and two new monsters. It can also be expanded into a longer campaign.
