The Sunken Fortress of Varkooth (OSE)
A long-buried fortress once ruled the valley under the sorcerer kings of Varkooth before sinking into the earth during the War of the Heavens. Nearly 1,600 years later, adventurers must explore its ruins and prevent the evil within from spreading. An optional hex crawl leads from Lenden through the Border Lands to the dungeon, with towns featuring encounter, weather, and rumor tables. The fortress contains five increasingly dangerous levels that descend into the Underdeep.
