An investigation begins on the Thames when the apparent accidental drowning of Russian exile Victor Stassow raises questions. During the Russian foreign minister’s public reception, Stassow’s young son identifies a member of the delegation as the man who pushed him into the river. The case leads through political intrigue, imperial Russia, and the British government. Players work together as detectives, studying a casebook, consulting newspapers and directories, and following leads to reconstruct what happened. They then answer questions about the investigation and compare their conclusions with the official solution.
