Tome of Magic: Pact, Shadow, and Truename Magic
This Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 supplement introduces three alternative forms of magic. Pact magic grants long-term powers through bargains with vestiges, the remnants of dead and forgotten gods. Shadow magic draws on the Plane of Shadow to provide a limited selection of mysteries that can be used multiple times per day as spell-like abilities. Truename magic alters the world through words of power in the true tongue of creation, resolved with Truespeak skill checks.
