Tricube Tactics
An optional rules layer adds tactical combat and deeper character customization to a narrative roleplaying system. Combat can switch between storytelling and detailed play using battle maps, zones, or range bands, with expanded rules for initiative, weapons, armor, stunts, mounts, minions, and afflictions. Each round, characters combine standard, simple, and swift actions with movement and free actions. Players can also create specialized knacks, choose additional subtraits and combat styles, and use tokens to represent allies, mounts, or familiars.
