Tunnels of the Twisting Worm
A micro-adventure for a party of 12th- or 13th-level characters, designed as a side trek for a campaign involving the tropical ruins of an ancient civilization. A colony is attacked by hordes of morlocks, who abduct captives and carry them into a twisting underground warren. The adventurers track the morlocks through the tunnels and confront their leader, a powerful worm-that-walks priest whose actions threaten the fabric of time. The book includes adventure background, encounter outlines, and new stat blocks; Game Masters provide maps, read-aloud text, and connections to the larger campaign.
