Türkenkrieg (1737-1739)

A two-player wargame covering the Russo-Austro-Turkish War in the Balkans from 1737 to 1739. One player commands Imperial Austria and its allied contingents, while the other controls the Ottoman armies, including Wallachian and Tatar auxiliaries. Players move formations, manage supply lines and depots, lay siege to fortresses, and fight battles across a map of the Danube Basin. Initiative depends on operational preparedness and can shift between sides, while leaders, river movement, auxiliaries, frontage, reserves, firepower, and morale influence operations. Scenarios cover each year of active campaigning, along with a full campaign game in which prestige contributes to the eventual peace settlement.
