Unique Magic Armors and Shields

A reference supplement for Dungeon Masters, this collection presents categorized listings of distinctive magical armor and shields for Basic D&D, AD&D, and compatible retroclones. Each item includes a name, description, and explanation of its properties and effects, adding character to standard treasure without relying on numerous powerful abilities. The statistics are based primarily on classic edition treasure tables and can be used with systems from the early Basic and Expert rules through later classic editions.
