In the continent of Aurania, four nations face renewed conflict after the ancient vampire Sigrid assassinates the king of Cherrystone. Players command armies in turn-based tactical battles, moving units across varied terrain, capturing villages, earning funds, and using commanders’ unique abilities. The campaign supports cooperative play, with scenarios designed for two players to coordinate their forces.
